Your smartphones will only connect to the Kingmaker. There is no option to dial a number, instead it will connect automatically to his phone.
Comments are screened for privacy; no listening in on each other's private conversations without permission, after all.

But I'm surprised you'd trust someone who has only made an appearance this late in the game.
[...He could say something about all the betrayals so far, but he'll spare you. You know better than anyone!!]
You're smart to be wary of what you hear from them. I don't expect the others to follow your example though.

...and it feels a little weird to be directly complimented like that. Not really sure if he's liking it. ]
They've been... I'd say "more forthcoming with information," but I'm honestly not sure if they have been. They're generally nicer when they refuse to share, though they got mad at Miss Sigrun today when she tried to press the issue of getting in contact with Ambitious. She really wants to talk to that ghost, since he's the only one we haven't had direct contact with.
[ The note about the Kingmaker on the second floor aside. ]
I think it's smarter not to trust either of you—not too much, I mean? Not... placing our full trust you or them, I guess, is what I'm getting at here.
[ ...that still feels mean to say, even if it's probably the wisest choice. ]

...Why is Boundless so determined to talk to Ambitious? She'd get nothing out of him.

And, well, she's a force of nature. I'm sure she thinks she could bully a little information out of him the way she's done you. [ ...maybe "bully" isn't the right word
on the other hand, this is Sigrun they're talking about. ]

Besides, you don't need to know anything about him. He's not important.
no subject
You really don't get along with him, do you.
no subject
There really isn't any reason to worry about him. You all have more important things to focus on.

Yes, I suppose we will.
What happens after we lose? Aside from... dying, I suppose. It's shown most of our souls persist after death, even the bird's. Would you just leave us here, or would you get did of us?

[ ...not in so many words nor in that phrasing but, well, you know. ]
Even if we found you, I don't know if we'd be able to beat you, or... whatever. Our odds aren't exactly looking good right now.
It's easier to assume the worst until it looks like there's a chance to get something better than that.

[There's something in his voice for a moment there, but it's gone too quickly for it to be obvious.]
As long as you all follow the rules there won't be any problems. Keep that in mind.

...it must've been his imagination. it's late, after all. ]
Of course. Most of us have been following them surprisingly well. [ retaliations aside. ] You haven't even had to add any rules.

I don't know where it could be if it's real, except maybe the women's bathroom.

What about the library? Pull a book, find a secret passage.

[ ...well, there's a point, but that's not really the point...? ]
I don't really have anything else to report. [ ...last time was interesting, so maybe... ] Do you have any questions for me?
