[You're in good company there, Kingmaker.]

Wow. I thought for sure someone would've got there before me, but I won't complain about winning that race. I've been called that before though, so it's not like it's a bad thing, it just means that you're loyal to yourself.
[And that's better than being wishy-washy and wanting to please everyone.]

...Was that the last of your questions?

[Silly Kingmaker. Silly, silly Kingmaker.]
What's your most embarrassing memory?
no subject
...I'm not going to answer that one. But you probably expected that, didn't you?

[And even then it's like?? An awkward discomfort. Embarrassment is weird.]
... But you're right, this is pretty much the first place I've felt it. Not sure that I like it.

[He's quiet for a moment, thinking that over.]
...I haven't really experienced it.

[Death, she can handle.
Embarrassment... Apparently not.]

I'll be sure to keep that in mind...

Okay, last one, I guess. [...] Two more. What's your most treasured memory?
[she didnt tell her embarrassing moment CALL HER OUT ON IT]

My most treasured memory... hmm. I think it would have to be some of the time I spent with my friend. I have a lot of great memories with him, but...
Well, it's not important now.
What's yours?
no subject
Also... Aww. Kingmaker really had a friend once. That's so cute.]
... A good question. I have a lot of memories one can treasure, I guess, but it's hard to decide what's my most treasured memory.
[Since a lot of it is carnage, for the most part.]
Being out at sea? A couple of the older guys would put me on the dragon's head when I was younger, and I always had a lot of fun with that. Or maybe it was that first giant kill I told you about. Getting my first gun? I don't really know how to measure this.

What was he like? Even if it's not important now, I'm interested in who could've dealt with such a stubborn ass.
[And we're back to joking.]

[Both to figure the kind of person he could be and to not have to refer to him as "your friend" all the time.]

[He slams down on that a little hard and he quickly amends it.]
It doesn't matter anyway. Is there anything else, Boundless?
no subject
I only asked would. But no, not really. I guess.
-- Wait. During the trial, did you get mad at us for taking too long or something else?

[she says a day before taichi gets blown up]
So? Still nothing?
no subject
...Well, it's nice of you to consider me a friend, I guess. But it really wasn't anything for you to worry about.
no subject
If you're sure. I mean, I'd say you can call me anytime if something's bothering you, but this is pretty one way, isn't it.
