I don't mind, but you're right in saying that there's nothing I'm really afraid of...
[Boy, when was the last time she felt scared over inconvenienced by things in her life? Around the time she started going out on the troll hunts, maybe?]
Well, not anymore anyway. All of my fear's just kind of turned into duty at this point. Like, it doesn't matter if I'm scared of something or not, it's just my job to deal with it. Seeing other people be scared makes me feel that way too.
[Someone who would, without hesitation, put herself between her comrades and whatever they're facing. Even at the expense of herself.]
Buuuut I'll keep it short. I'd guess that the time I felt most afraid would be the first time I faced a giant, which is basically a troll that grew overtime and is the rarest thing a hunter can come across. I wasn't new to the game or anything, but watching one of the more experienced hunters just get torn to shreds so easily really froze me up.
It got taken down in the end with two more fatal strikes on us, but the next time we found one a few years later I stuck a knife right between its eyes with no deaths. Just wounded. I didn't want to feel that way again, so I just decided that I'd take care of things myself if I could. Death's something I'm familiar with, but powerlessness isn't something I tolerate.
